Designed for the most extreme adventurers, the Boulder 3L Gore-Tex Pants feature a new comfort fit with a motocross-derived, pre-shaped cut, 3L laminated Gore-Tex construction for perfect waterproofing and breathability, and direct vents for climate control. The Boulder pants are the pinnacle of Alpinestars hard adventure pants. They are made from premium, durable materials, including a 3L Gore-Tex main shell with a reinforced 3L Gore-Tex shell in the seat, as well as 2L Gore-Tex stretch material in the crotch, above the knees and behind the knees. The knees are reinforced with Superfabric ceramic plate inserts for extreme durability and abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility and breathability. In addition, the trousers have leather and ballistic nylon reinforcements on the inside of the knee and on the lower inner leg. Other features include level 2 knee protection, a magnetic buckle closure at the waist and waterproof, ergonomic cargo pockets. The pattern of the Boulder 3L Gore-Tex pants includes pre-shaped hip and knee panels derived from motocross development to provide perfect mobility and comfort for off-road riders who experience many changes between standing up and sitting down on the bike. With their wide pant leg, the pants fit easily over MX boots such as the Tech 7 Drystar® boots.
